we met them when i was a christian and we have kept in touch.
they had a few other friends there as well, including the new church pastor and his wife.

I think it's more like incredulity that here in 21st century people still base their lives and those of their children on things that have been debunked (the bible) fairy tales and misfiring brain activity like auditory hallucinations.

Who Made The Code?
by Perry ina few weeks ago, discoveries were made that show that there is another dna code language that rides on top of the already incredibly complex 4-letter code previously discovered.
this newly discovered code apparently regulates how genes work.
as i noted in a previous thread, the amount of data storage available in the dna storage system just the size of a pin-head would filll a stack of books stacked from your driveway to the moon .... 500 times!

Simon, umm, where have you been? This is nothing new about Tammys beliefs. This is why it is futile to engage with her as her whole belief system is a self supporting circular delusion floating in mid air with no foundations at all (except the voice in her head).

hello!
by gamergirl inglad to be a new member and find others with similarities of background.
some background info on me: my dad became jw when i was young, so i spent maybe a third of my life in the religion.
although i respect everyone's beliefs, i personally knew many genuinely selfless people in my congregation, but the way i was raised, now that i am an adult i am realizing was very sheltered and unrealistic.

What is the Whore of Babylon up to these days?
by rebel8 inwhen i left decades ago, she was like 76 years old, smoking crack and wearing way too much makeup for her age.. the rumor was the wts was sending the flock messages about the closeness of the big a based on how old the whore looked.. by now she ought to be like 95. she probably lives in a rest home and can't crawl up on the beast anymore because of her arthritis.
she just rides her hoveround now.. she's probably annoying her roommates with repetitive stories of the good old days when she used to ride the wild beast and it would do her bidding.. i imagine she tells this story about every 15 minutes, forgetting what she said earlier because of dementia..
